Smooth & Silken Classic Relaxer

This classic hair relaxer from the Motions Smooth & Silken line is designed to straighten and smooth medium to coarse textured hair while conditioning and protecting each strand. Using a no-base formula enriched with humectants and oils such as shea butter, argan and coconut oil, it aims to leave hair smooth, silky and luxurious even after chemical relaxing.

Directions

1. Apply a protective crème to the nape and skin area. Part hair into four sections. Wearing protective gloves, apply the relaxer crème close to the scalp but not directly onto the scalp, starting at the nape and moving toward the forehead, and finish the hairline last. Smooth each section after application. If stinging or discomfort occurs, rinse immediately.

2. When desired hair relaxation is achieved, rinse thoroughly with strong warm water until all traces of the relaxer are removed.

3. Apply a deep conditioner for 10 minutes then rinse.

4. Shampoo using a neutralizing shampoo twice, rinsing well after each. Blot excess water and proceed to style.
